"Thank you for taking care of my mother. When she was diagnosed with tongue cancer it was a very emotional time for our family. We had thousands of questions and answered all of them. It really helped to have someone explain everything and hold our hands as we went through surgery and then radiation. My mom is cancer free and although there are side effects from the radiation like dry mouth, she has a normal life again."
An initial consultation appointment with Dr. Thomas Schlieve can last between 20 minutes and up to one hour, sometimes longer, depending on the complexity of your case. Schlieve will always give you the time to answer all of your questions and concerns. He personally performs the history and physical exam as well as a discussion of the diagnosis and treatment plan, not assistant staff. His outpatient clinic is located at the UT Southwestern Medical Center Campus in Dallas, TX.
